Order drip-stop anti condensation roofing sheets online quickly and easily using our roofing calculator. Simply enter your roof shape and dimensions, select your preferred coating and colour, then add the dripstop anti-condensation membrane. Our roofing calculator will then generate a bespoke quote with everything you need to complete your project while protecting your building from moisture and condensation.

Available on the 32/1000 box profile and the 13/3 traditional corrugated sheet, we recommend a 0.7mm thickness for roofing and a 0.5mm for side cladding.

Once you’ve completed the quote builder, your order is handled from start to finish by the Cardinal Steels team. Every anti-condensation roof sheet is manufactured to your exact specifications and delivered anywhere in the UK within 7 days, or 48-hours (subject to availability and added cost).

Condensation can form on the underside of uninsulated metal roofs when warm, moist air meets a cooler surface. Left untreated, it leads to drips, damp patches, mould growth and even structural deterioration.

Our anti-condensation roofing sheets prevent this by incorporating a drip stop liner. This high-performance, non-woven polyester fleece membrane is factory bonded to the underside of the steel sheet, trapping moisture as it forms before gradually releasing it as the temperature rises. This simple, maintenance-free solution extends roof life and maintains a dry, clean interior environment.

Choose Your Anti Drip Roof Sheet Coating

The coating you choose for your anti-condensation roofing sheets is key to both appearance and performance. Choose from a range of durable finishes, each suited to different environments and budgets. Each option provides reliable protection against corrosion and weathering, ensuring your anti condensation roofing sheets stay strong and look their best for years to come.

Polyester

  • Gloss finish.
  • Available in 0.5mm or 0.7mm thickness.
  • Up to 15 years guarantee.

Plastisol

  • Leathergrain finish.
  • Available in 0.5mm or 0.7mm thickness.
  • Up to 25 years guarantee.

From the enhanced protection of polyester and the long-term performance of PVC plastisol, each coating offers a tailored balance of durability and value. This allows you to choose the ideal finish for your anti-condensation roofing sheets. For detailed advice on selecting the best coating for your roof, see our guide to selecting the right finish for steel roof sheets or you can get in touch to speak to a member of our team.

How Dripstop Roofing Sheets Work

The drip stop anti-condensation liner is bonded to the underside of the steel sheets.

Absorption: When the temperature drops to the dew point, the membrane traps and holds moisture in its specially designed fiber pockets, capable of absorbing up to 1,000 g/ of water.

Evaporation: As the temperature rises and air moves across the panels, the stored moisture is released back into the air as normal humidity.

Designed to last the lifetime of the steel sheet, the dripstop anti-condensation liner has a proven track record of over 20 years in the field, making it a practical, efficient and proven solution for moisture management.

Installation and Maintenance Advice

To ensure effective performance of the dripstop liner, correct installation and maintenance is essential on your anti-condensation sheets, you should ensure:

  • Adequate Ventilation – For the dripstop to function correctly, the building must have adequate ventilation to allow the absorbed moisture to evaporate during the day.

  • Glazing & Heat Treating – To prevent wicking, whereby moisture is pulled back into the building via capillary action, the edges, eaves and end laps of the membrane should be heat-treated during installation. This seals the fibers so they cannot soak up exterior runoff.

  • Effective Cleaning – To keep your anti-condensation drip liner sheets looking new, you can clean them with a garden hose or low-pressure power washer.

Each anti-condensation roofing sheet can be finished to complement your building’s style or match existing materials. Our coated steel range includes sixteen standard colours, which you can preview in person with our free sample order, ensuring your drip stop sheets blend seamlessly with surrounding roofing sheets, cladding and structural components.

Supporting Components and Finishing Accessories

In addition to our custom-made, cut-to-size steel anti condensation roof sheets, we also produce all associated ancillary products in-house. This includes Z-purlins, C-sections, flashings and fixings designed to secure and protect the finished structure.

Each item is manufactured to the same quality standard, ensuring a consistent fit and finish throughout.

Ehanced Protection, Comfort & Performance

Engineered for effective moisture control across agricultural, domestic, and industrial applications, the dripstop liner helps protect livestock, vehicles and stored goods while improving internal conditions and temperature stability.

  • Corrosion Protection – Forms a protective barrier against moisture build-up, helping to prevent rust and extend the lifespan of steel panels
  • Acoustic Insulation – Minimises drumming noise from heavy rain and hail, creating a quieter and more comfortable internal environment
  • Durable & Efficient – Will not sag, pull away, or be compromised by birds or pests and arrives pre-applied to reduce installation time by up to 30%
  • Superior Hygiene – Bacteria-resistant surface helps inhibit the growth of mould and mildew, supporting a cleaner environment
  • Fire Rated – Classified to A1 (non-combustible) or B-s1,d0, depending on membrane specification

    What are anti-condensation roof sheets?

Anti-condensation roof sheets are steel roof panels with a special fleece backing that absorbs moisture. This prevents condensation from dripping onto the space below, helping to keep interiors dry.

  • image/svg+xmlimage/svg+xml
How do anti-condensation roof sheets work?

The fleece layer absorbs moisture formed when warm air meets the cold underside of the roof sheet. When the temperature rises, the absorbed water evaporates naturally, keeping the building dry without extra ventilation.

Do I need anti-condensation roof sheets or insulation?

If your building isn’t heated or insulated – such as a garage, workshop, barn, or storage unit – anti-condensation sheets are ideal. For heated buildings or homes, insulated roof sheets may be a better option.

  • image/svg+xmlimage/svg+xml
How long does the anti-condensation fleece last?

The fleece backing is bonded to the steel during manufacture and is designed to last for the full lifespan of the roof sheet – typically 15–40 years when properly installed and ventilated.

  • image/svg+xmlimage/svg+xml
Can I add anti-condensation treatment to existing roof sheets?

No – the fleece must be factory-applied during production. However, if you’re re-roofing or replacing sheets, we can supply new panels with the anti-condensation backing already applied.

  • image/svg+xmlimage/svg+xml
How do I install anti-condensation roof sheets?

Installation is the same as standard steel sheets. Simply ensure the fleece faces downwards and that the building has adequate airflow to allow moisture to evaporate.

What coatings and colours are available?

Anti-condensation sheets are available in all standard colours and finishes, including galvanised, polyester, and plastisol coatings.

  • image/svg+xmlimage/svg+xml
Can anti-condensation sheets be cut to size?

Yes – all anti-condensation sheets are cut to your required lengths for easy installation and a professional finish.
