Installation and Maintenance Advice
To ensure effective performance of your dripstop anti condensation roof sheets, correct installation and maintenance is essential. You should ensure:
- Adequate ventilation – For the dripstop to function correctly, the building must have adequate ventilation to allow the absorbed moisture to evaporate during the day.
- Glazing and heat treating – To prevent wicking, whereby moisture is pulled back into the building via capillary action, the edges, eaves and end laps of the membrane should be heat-treated during installation. This seals the fibers so they cannot soak up exterior runoff.
- Effective cleaning – To keep your anti condensation drip liner sheets looking new, you can clean them with a garden hose or low-pressure power washer.
