Methodology

First we compiled a list of Birmingham rooftop bars using Visit Birmingham, Secret Birmingham and Design My Night. This created our list of 12 restaurants/bars in the area.

We then used Google Search Data to establish the average monthly search volume for the most common term of the restaurant/bar that relates to Birmingham. For example, ‘Marco Pierre White Birmingham’. The number of searches was collected to create this list, from June 2023. However, some bars had the same number of searches in June. So, then data was further compared from May and April in order to create the list of top 12.

Information on each bar/restaurant was based on their own website.
