Industrial Roofing and Cladding
On a factory or warehouse the roof is a running cost as much as a building element. It governs how much you spend heating the space, how much artificial light you need during the day, and how much disruption a future repair causes. Those three things usually decide the specification long before appearance does.

Single skin or insulated
An unheated store can be single skin. Anywhere with staff working in it, or a process that needs a stable temperature, justifies insulated or composite panels, which fix in one operation rather than assembling a liner, spacers, insulation and outer sheet on site.

Overcladding
Where the existing roof is structurally sound but tired, overcladding puts a new covering over the old one. The building stays in use, there is no strip-out, and the waste and disruption of a full replacement are avoided.
It is often the difference between a job that can happen this year and one that cannot.
Daylight, corrosion and access
Daylight. GRP roof lights in matching box profile, corrugated and Big 6 forms let daylight into the floor without altering how the roof is fixed. On a large shed, distributing them evenly across the roof gives far better working light than a few concentrated rows.
Cut edge corrosion. On older industrial roofs the sheet ends at the laps and eaves are usually the first place to fail, because the cut edge exposes the steel. Access. Roof lights and ageing sheets should be treated as fragile. Anyone working on an industrial roof needs to plan access properly, and HSE guidance on fragile roofs is the reference point.

What Coatings Do We Offer?
We always recommend our PVC Plastisol-coated sheets due to their cost-effectiveness and excellent resistance to abrasion and corrosion. Polyester-coated sheets are also a high-quality, versatile option suitable for both box profile and corrugated roofing sheets. However, care must be taken to avoid scratching during handling and installation.
